About the 4word

The 4word is a student-run and reviewed foreward to the annually published literary magazine, Preface. It is the shorter and more casual version of our larger publication, consisting of poetry, prose, and art.

Submissions to the 4word should be short, creative, off-the-wall, and attractive in black and white. They can be anything from doodles, napkin art, and cartoons to limericks, haiku, 6-word memoirs, and 5-sentence stories.
